https://toronto.citynews.ca/2022/01/19/ontario-covid-number-january-19/I’m finding these numbers disturbing. The fully vaccinated make up the majority of the people in the hospitals and ICUs. I don’t know what this means but this certainly is going to give ammo to the anti vaccination crowd.

Yet again proving that their opposition to the vaccine had nothing to do with unproven drugs and everything to do with just being assholes.

You're still significantly more likely to wind up in the ICU if you're unvaccinated.2) Fully vaccinated people are still headed to the ICU now because what they're "fully vaccinated" against is version of COVID-19 from 1-2 years ago. There's enough data to suggest that two doses of the vaccine were incredibly effective against what COVID used to be, but they aren't as effective against what COVID has mutated/evolved into. The definition of what being fully vaccinated means is pretty outdated at this point. The antivax crowd is absolutely going to mock the idea of us needing more boosters and whatnot but that's just the reality we're in.
For the 1st time, @CDC has posted data for hospitalizations partitioned by booster, 2-shots, or no vaccination. Age groups (50-64, 65+)https://t.co/M2Bu9rj1VeIt's Delta, mostly pre-Omicron50-fold risk for unvaccinated Remarkably low, at times zero/100,000 people, for boosted pic.twitter.com/PykB7hXss7— Eric Topol (@EricTopol) January 21, 2022

So I’m hearing (not through anything official) that these truckers have a plan B if the government doesn’t relent on the vaccination requirements and are going to cutoff the supply chain across the country, with the support of US truckers. Putting aside that logistically I’m not sure how they pull this off, isn’t this getting dangerously close to terrorism?
That was my initial reaction as well when my buddy told me this. But he seems convinced that they have the numbers to do this. Either way I’m annoyed at this whole situation.

If they even try, it will fail horribly and will be over so quickly it will make their heads spin.

The closest count here is 113 trucks (and 246 personal vehicles).
