Matthews looks annoyed...or you know it's 3AM in the morning.

Likely recovery from thinking it could be Winnipeg.

I hope the Jays win tomorrow so those that call into talk radio stop crying for at least day (about the team outside of Lind and Rasmus).

Two comeback wins will generate hype and attract more fans to watch the games. My cousin who dislikes baseball has asked my brother to go to a game after getting caught  up in the hype of the two comebacks. As long as the team can stay within reasonable contention I believe there could be big attendance increase this season and the next

Jays look like they'll probably win the Grapefruit league title, which unfortunately could be the high point of their season.

Is there anything wrong with dominating pre-season?

It gives people misleading expectations?

Sending memo to Jays: Lost every game in your preseason next year so the fans have no expectations.

I recommend Rogers.

In terms of pricing, they are pretty much the same. You can always get one to match the other. In terms of adding additional costs, they both do that regularly.

From my experience Rogers has the far greater customer service. I know Bell has been a nightmare in the past...now sure if they improved it lately. I never am on hold for more then 5 mins with Rogers. We even had a problem with a HD/PVR box and had over 4 servicemen coming out to check it out, each time putting new equipment such as better cables/signal boosters are no extra cost. It ended up being a faulty box and it was annoying needing five visits to learn that. That being said, they never gave us a hard time and visited us within 2 days of the call.

Strikeforce needs to keep focusing on their women's divisions. The rest should shift to more of a feeder league format.

What did everyone think of the new TUF live format? You could tell it was their first time doing this but overall I liked it.

It has potential but they need to change the format for the "getting in the house" episode.

A one round fight showcases nothing that a fighter has to offer. Some fighters are better brawlers and that is all that format caters too. They should have kept the fight to two rounds and just made it two episodes.

Other than that...it is a great idea...once they hammer out all the bumps it should be better than the pre recorded version.

Hoping some of the more experienced young guys like Snider and Cecil can take the next step now that it seems they are taking their careers more seriously after a tough 2011 season.

Cecil sounds like he's a new man now that he's taking his conditioning seriously, and Snider at least sounds like maybe, just maaaybe he's matured enough to pull it together this year.   I don't hold out a lot of hope for the latter, but you never know.

I don't know what will happen, but it would be pretty nice to have an outfield bench that had Snider/Thames and Davis on it.  That would actually give them some depth.  Snider can play the odd game in RF and is way better defensively in LF.  If he finds a way to put together his offensive game, even if he was at first just getting rest days at DH/LF/RF and then getting the odd late-game defensive sub, that would be a nice addition that wouldn't hurt the team in close games that go to extra innings.

As much as I am disappointed that AA didn't find a way to add a starting pitcher, the confidence from the team early on is really encouraging.  I can't remember the last time the team felt this assertive.  That is only going to help.  All three games so far, the guys who are going to be on the roster have looked pretty good.  The pitching staff held a pretty solid Tiger's lineup at bay yesterday until the AAAA/AAA relievers came into the game late and gave up 3 runs in the 8th-9th.

There is a lot of questions marks about the pitching this season. The great thing is we have a lot of names fighting for these roster spots or will be by mid season. One or two are bound to get it together.

It is crazy how close they're to the playoffs.

They were 10 games shy of the wild card, 9 of the second wild card.

We have improved the bullpen considerably...

We have numerous questions marks in the following:

Lind, Morrow, Cecil, Drabek, Alvarez, Ramus, Snider, Thames, Johnson, Arencibia, McGowan...

We just need a few of these guys to build on last year. If Morrow and Lind just become consistent (and no injuries to our studs)...this team will be right there fighting for the a playoff spot at the end of the year.

Too bad the negative reaction to the lack of big name signings at the end of the year. This season has the potential to be a really exciting season. We have a great deal of young players with enourmas potential with another group creeping up towards the big leagues (Hech, Hutch, Deck, Gose)...the competition on this team for roster spots is heating up.

Should be an interesting year.

They're are better team than last year for sure. A lot has to go right...but playoffs are a possibility for the first time in the AA era.

Well if he and his team can argue that the delay in getting the sample to the lab was a reason to overturn his suspension. They can take the time to explain why such a thing could cause a positive test

But their argument had nothing to do with what caused a positive test. It was the pretty simple, and inarguable, position that the agreed upon procedures need to be followed. They don't know why there was a positive test, why waste time trying to figure it out?

Why waste time? Think there is a few good reasons. Here is the main one.

His appeal got overturned buy 2-1 vote. One person opinion made the difference from him having a black eye on his career. If I was him/players associations and I was innocent, I would want to know how a false positive like this occurred or if the urine sample was tampered with. A career of one the better players was nearly ruined, if he is innocent a huge Frig up occurred and I would want to get to the bottom of it.

Hey who needs to worry about the environment when you can spend billions on jet fighters that might not actually be built and super prisons. I have my fingers crossed a good leader will emerge from one of the other two major parties.

It is humourous that many reasons people wanted change from the Liberals was because the Conservatives were to be more fiscally responsible. Oddly enough, they're spending as much money (if not more) as the Liberals did. With the harsher setencing the costs of prisons will continue to escalate.

As a graduate of criminology program and having the pleasure to be a student to many police officers, correctional officers and boarder patrol officers...it is clear to me a system like the US (which we have shifted too) has been proven to be extremely costly while having minimal (if any) impact in reducing crime.

Finally got around to watching Moneyball, and I really enjoyed it.   Although, it would have been a much better movie if they'd won the championship in the end.
Scriptwriters dropped the ball on that one.

I think George Clooney should play Bryan Murray in the movie about the Sens winning the 12/13 Stanley Cup.

It is based on a true story.

Got around to watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It has some great moments but the movie is just too long and is a bit of a chore to get through. I did watch the Swedish version which may have contributed to this...but still I've watched the same movie multiple times in past and was entertained the same each time.

The captains are often involved in ship activates, I wonder if that was the drinking he was involved in (say a dismemberment toast) or the guy was just living it up on a cruise ship.

I'd say, if he lost his arms and legs, i guess that's a good excuse as any for not being able to steer the thing!

lol...oops
