Im hoping Rielly/Liljegren
then Gio/Sandin to help get Sandin out of his funk

So in the dressing room this morning after pickup,
the guy in the corner who brings the beer throws out some speculation,
which oddly enough actually hits the mark quite a bit, says in one breath
the leafs are trading Kerfoot and Holl to ARI to get Chychrun at 50%
and then sign Scheen.
is this even possible

Since this is just us all guessing or hoping
Sooo...
I would like to see
Knies-Matthews-Josh Anderson
Nylander-Tavares-Marner
Bunting-Kerfoot-Holmberg
Jarnkrok-Kampf-Engvall
ZAR
Rielly-Brodie
Giordano-Holl
Sandin-Liljegren
Scheen-Benn

Can't imagine how they could swing that but I would love to see it.

with Messi being talked about going to Inter Miami could Rinaldo end up in MLS hopefully with TFC

I've got to see Douglas play many times.  He has always reminded me of a bigger stronger Ponikarovsky

Getting Sanford may help in many ways.  He has tons of insight with Vancouver's goalie ranks.  They are already paying big for a 5 year term goalie.  So im curious to see if he talks Dubas into getting RFA DiPietro for Holl maybe.  DiPietro has been good wherever he plays.  Then give Holl's money to Sandin

Campbell is better than Gibson and he's possibly 2 M cheaper.  Would like to see them target Georgiyev as he is a RFA. Probably could sign him to 2.5X3 and have him and Campbell run with it.  He could be our Rask in a way, meaning a guy who was unwanted and then thrived.

I hate to be so blatantly obvious in my love for the way Matthews is playing but this is the first time in 35 years that I've felt Sittlers record is in jeopardy. Then I looked up how old Sittler was that night and he was 25 and guess who turns 25 this year!!  Coincidence?¿

As much as wish Engvall would play more like he was born in Alberta than Sweden, but I'd just be elated if he could effectively go to the net.  Think the Leafs need this so much, especially in the playoffs, that they should hire a Dirty Goals coach.  Hire Tim Kerr or someone to really hone or develop Ritchie, Mikheyev, Kase, Engvall, Bunting, and Simmonds in this manner.  The pretty plays and the Leafs stop in the playoffs.
Nylander was born in Alberta and plays the same. Where you were born doesn't truthfully matter. It's how you were coached in the early checking years. How you were taught to score at a young age. It's all about your natural instincts not just your ability. Tim Kerr like Cicarelli and Robitaille were scoring machines because of instincts not solely because of skill. Some coaches when the se guys were in Bantam and Midget showed them and through success those skills became instinctual. Engvall is not just going to start being a net front presence when his whole life he's been told to use his speed and that his skating is his strongest asset. He's not going to all of a sudden stop skating and standing in front of net. Whereas JVR loved standing beside the net. We saw countless videos of him practicing his shot from within 2 feet of the net.

The best Leaf, in my generation at least, that stood in front of the net and popped in goal after goal was Dave Andreychuk. If Richie can do that 1/4 as well as Andreychuk did I'd be happy with him.

Until the Leafs make the SC final again that Gilmour and Andreychuk led team is still the example to follow from past Leafs teams in the modern era.
Absolutely agree with this. If one of those guys could duplicate Big Dave. We would be laughing. Maybe they should get him down there trying to teach the willing

Non-Hockey Chatter / Re: Depression and Anxiety

Thank you so much guys. It's really frustrating. Bullfrog tanks I will seek out that book. I think it's time to go back to family doctor and have him refer me to a therapist because spoke to the psychiatrist again today who gave me an 11 minute phone consultation, made sure I had refills of the shit he's prescribing and again steered me away from getting help for the ADHD saying I need to focus on my depression which I feel is a direct result of the ADHD. At the 11th minute when I was trying to push him into directing me towards some other form of therapy. He's say "Well go to go now. We can talk again in 3 months" like Frig I'm so frustrated
