WOW.  Tebow throws a TD pass on the 1st play of overtime to win the game!  What an awful job by the Steelers offensive line and secondary.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm on Mile High this evening.  :)

I'm just glad Tebow showed up in the first half (TD run and pass in 2nd quarter). Usually Denver fans have to wait until the 4th and/or OT!

Losing every early game so far today.....could this be the worst blown lead in the history of pick em this week? haha

Nah, that would make you Ryan Fitzpatrick.  :)

But congrats on first place...and congrats to my co-2nd place finisher "oldrugby" on a fine season.

Same time next year.  PS - Go Broncos!

Main Leafs Hockey Talk / Leafs recall Darryl Boyce
December 20, 2011, 03:00:21 PM
Leafs press release:

Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday that the hockey club has recalled forward Darryl Boyce from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The Maple Leafs also placed Colby Armstrong on injured reserve with a concussion and he is out indefinitely.

Boyce, 27, has appeared in 22 games with the Marlies this season, collecting four goals and six assists for 10 points with 22 penalty minutes. The 6-0, 200-pound native of Summerside, P.E.I. registered 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists), a plus-eight (+8) rating and 33 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Maple Leafs in 2010-11. He also collected six goals, 10 assists, 16 points, 48 penalty minutes and a plus-seven (+7) rating in 35 games with the Marlies last season.

Is it ever annoying seeing the mug of the founder of Wikipedia on every Wiki page I open with his personal appeal.  We get it already.
We thought of doing the same thing here with a picture of Del Mundo but we knew it would drive too many people away.

No argument from me. Heck, the photo on my media pass is so bad that I'm not concerned about losing it - because if anyone ever found it, I don't think they'd lower themselves to attempt to resemble me.  :)

Tim Tebow is a joke.

That is all.

He can't throw.

But, all he does is keep leading the Broncos to victories (except for the embarrassment vs. Detroit).

Not saying it's going to last forever, but the team has already surpassed its win total from last season, and could have a share of the division lead by the end of the weekend, when they have absolutely no business being there.

And as a Denver fan, I'm loving it.  :)

Thread title "Don't Forget Belak". Kind of chilling, reading it now.

Different topic: Suggested to Darryl to visit Frozen Pond regarding Bobby Orr stick pricing. 10 years later I still shop at that store and I'm good friends with Hersh, the owner.

My handle "Rob Asst Site Admin".  Well, at least I had the first 6 letters right.  :)
I'm in again, despite my dislike of the Bills-centric password (it's ok, I can always hide/save it!)  :)

Change of identity this year, RobDM -> MileHighClub. (*)
(*) who said anything about the Broncos?  :)
Tough loss to swallow at the hands of the Eskimos last night. The chaotic end to the first half with Edmonton getting a third chance to punch it in from the 1-yard line (after it appeared time expired) was the turning point.

What a tremendous loss of a wonderful person.

Can't believe it's been six years. I remember Darryl's devastating instant message on MSN. Then I authored the front page bulletin to tell everyone of the tragedy; phoning a few posters who knew her well, but aren't "daily" posters.  It was a day I'll never forget, for all the wrong reasons.

We've still kept her tribute page on our site:

As for the tree that we planted in her memory in Rennie Park, thanks to donations from many of you, I last visited it in May on the day of what would have been her 43rd birthday. It seems to be doing quite well!  :)

Miss you lots, Sakura!
