Messages - Guilt Trip

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Today at 12:29:10 AMKeefe disagrees with you.  Postgame comments, he thought Marner played a good game.

He's not getting traded, herman.  He's not.  Get used to it.
I thought he was good. He still needs to be better. It would go a long way if L2 could start popping them.

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Yesterday at 10:25:56 PMHuh, a lot more people vote when we win.  How about that.
And less whining

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Yesterday at 10:25:01 PMSo:

We don't suck?
Neither does Sammy?

Talk about a one-eighty mood swing on here.
I didn't think they played that bad 5v5 last game.just had to clean stuff up. They gotta keep it 5v5 and they'll be fine.

Quote from: herman on Yesterday at 09:17:00 PMMinor trouble spots:
- Knies dragging his line down defensively, but still doing some decent spade work on the attack
- Marner hasn't really activated, granted he's doing the shutdown duties sans Matthews and that is harder
- Samsonov, by nature of his playstyle, is inconsistent, so we have to work hard to make sure he gets clean looks and is positioned to be lucky
- too many stick infractions against a team that a) knows how to dive b) knows how to pass to Pastrnak
- breakouts getting targeted routinely

Bright spots:
- playing slightly better than Boston 5v5 short two of our better forwards
- Matthews still cooks with Bert and Domi
- Holmberg and Kampf pulling their weight
Marner is getting roasted and I think it's a lil unfair. I think Knies is hurting that line for sure and Marner's assignment as shutdown is def tough playing with JT and Knies.

We need Willy to get back asap because our 3rd line would be a lot more threatening with him there. L2 misses McMann big time.

Quote from: Zee on Yesterday at 09:21:40 PMShots in game 2 are 37-12 for Canes

And good old Freddy has given up 3 goals on those 12 shots.

That would have been terrible if they lost that. Isles are totally outclassed.
Isles were winning 3-1 going into the 3rd and winning 3-2 with just over 2:15 mins left. Canes scored 3 the last 2:15.

Props to the 4th line...They were great. Kampf earning his money.

Quote from: Bender on Yesterday at 08:50:41 PMBoys I don't know how we did it but we did 👏
Leafs were the better team, that's how. Leafs gave up 12 scoring chances 5v5 the whole game and only 4, 5v5 shots in the 3rd. Leafs had 37 overall chances to 17 for the Bruins.

Quote from: cabber24 on Yesterday at 08:48:46 PMAll Matthews there, probably saved a goal, so strong.
Best player on the ice, by far

Reaves getting a penalty for that is ridiculous.
