Game notes
BOS
•Jeremy Swayman will likely start for the Bruins
•Boston appears to have 2 players ready to step back into the line-up after missing the first 4 playoff games with an injury. Derek Forbort and Justin Brazeau were both on regular lines at practice on Monday

TOR
•Joseph Woll will likely start for the Leafs
•Keefe did not indicate which goalie would be getting the start for game 5, however Woll does seem likely to get his first playoff start this year given how the series has gone so far
•The bigger question mark is of course the status of Auston Matthews. Matthews left game 4 in the 3rd period due to an illness and was not at practice on Monday. The Leafs appeared to be preparing for him to not play at practice but obviously that could all change depending on how he feels throughout the day Tuesday

Game notes
BOS
•Linus Ullmark will likely start for the Bruins
•When asked about his plans for who starts game 4 Montomery stated that the Bruins are "following the plan we had in place". This would suggest that the rotation Boston has followed all season long will continue and Ullmark will start. This is not locked in though and Boston could be tempted to keep going with Swayman since he's won both of Boston's games

TOR
•Ilya Samsonov  will likely start for the Leafs
•Willy Watch looks like it may be coming to an end. Nylander practiced on the 3rd line and top PP unit at practice on Friday and spoke to the media afterward. Confirmation will still need to come either after the morning skate tomorrow or during the pre-game warmups but Willy looks closer to returning than he has at any other point in the series
•Some questions remain for the rest of the line-up. Brodie appears set to make his 2024 playoff debut and who comes out of the line-up up front if Nylander is ready to return doesn't appear 100% but it seems like it will come down to Robertson or Dewar

Game notes
BOS
•Linus Ullmark (22-10-7, 2.57 GAA, .915 Sv%) will likely start for the Bruins
•Boston's goalie plans are of course unknown to the public. It's expected that they will continue rotate goalies at this time as they have all season long so that means Ullmark could get the net for game 2

TOR
•Ilya Samsonov (23-7-8, 3.13 GAA, .890 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
•Nylander was on the ice on Sunday during Toronto's optional skate in Boston. His status for game 2 is still unknown but getting on the ice is at least a positive sign

Game notes
BOS
•Jeremy Swayman (25-10-8, 2.53 GAA, .916 Sv%) will likely start for the Bruins
•Boston has rotated goalies all season long between Swayman and Ullmark. That will likely continue at least to start the playoffs.  The two have nearly identical stats but Swayman's 3-0 record against the Leafs this season could give him the nod for game 1, although that has not been confirmed yet

TOR
•Ilya Samsonov (23-7-8, 3.13 GAA, .890 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
•Toronto has also not revealed their starting goalie but it feels more likely that Samsonov is in net for the Leafs to start the playoffs
•The big news at practice on Friday was the absence of William Nylander. Keefe noted that both him and McMann are possibilities to play Saturday, so their status will likely be up in the air until either the morning skate or later in the day
•Brodie practiced outside of the top-6 at practice and is expected to be the odd man out on the defence

Game notes
TB
•Andrei Vasilevskiy (30-20-2, 2.90 GAA, .900 Sv%) will likely start for the Lightning
•Final game of the regular season and there is nothing on the line here so Tampa's actual line-up could look different than posted if they chose to sit some of their regulars

TOR
•Ilya Samsonov (23-7-8, 3.13 GAA, .890 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
•Ditto for the Maple Leafs about this game not having any meaning on the standings. It could be more difficult for Toronto sit some players since they only have 12 healthy forwards at the moment but the defence will likely look quite a bit different as the 3 scratches from last night could all be suiting up

Game notes
FLA
•Anthony Stolarz (15-7-2, 2.03 GAA, .926 Sv%) will start for the Panthers
•This will be game 82 for the Florida Panthers but it still has some meaning. A win (or even a point) could potentially earn Florida the top spot in the Atlantic division depending on how Boston does in their final game. Still, it would not be a surprise to see the Panthers rest some players. They will definitely be without Ekblad and Verhaeghe who have missed the past few games but are on track to play in game 1 of the playoffs

TOR
•Joseph Woll (12-10-1, 2.88 GAA, .907 Sv%) will start for the Leafs
•The Leafs will be missing some players in what is their 2nd last game of the season. Bobby McMann and Max Domi are both confirmed out with injuries tonight
•With Domi unavailable Keefe reunited the Matthews and Marner duo at practice for the first time in about a month and a half. Matthews is of course looking for the 70th goal of his season
