TSNBobMcKenzie: Confirming reports, Marek Zidlicky has waived his NTC to go to the NJD.

TGfireandice: It looks like Foster could be going back to Minnesota in trade for Zidlicky. Not official, yet.

DarrenDreger: Sources say Foster has been told he's headed back to Minny as part of trade for Zidlicky.

TGfireandice: Devils officially announce trade.  It's' Foster, Veilleux, Palmieri and Washington's 2012 2nd round pick for Marek Zidlicky.

TGfireandice: Wild also get conditional draft pick in 2013 in the trade.

TGfireandice: The 2nd round pick going to Minnesota was one Devils acquired from Caps in Jason Arnott trade last year.

Well on the plus side, at least Zidlicky will be happy to go from a stifling defensive minded team to a high powered offensive minded juggernaut that suits his style of play.  :o

I suppose, I mean he is stifled by the Wild system, he's fragile and his offense has been trending down.  Dunno how much success he'll have there as a 36 year old in their system.

I would say it is a high price for a 35 year old defenceman with zero goals so far this season.
