Note: This post is a placeholder, as the draft is about to land in a couple of weeks, so there will be some movement on this list of eligibles along with new additions from the draft. It's also Auston Matthews' final season on the T25U25 board so there should be some new drama next season at the top of the board.

Kyle Cushman reviews the 2021 draft. He will also review 2020 tomorrow.

For a draft with basically no picks and no trades, that Matthew Knies pick still feels bananas. Elevated exposure due to the NHL being blocked off the Olympics has something to do with it, but Knies did the work to making a sizable impact.

Ty Voit continues to remind me of Mitch Marner (playstyle, not nearly as bonkers productive) but Sarnia used him in centre. It will be interesting to see who, if any of the diminutive playmakers in the prospect pipeline stand out and make the jump (Der-Arguchintsev, Abbruzzese, Abramov, Miller).

Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate

I know we've been over this but it really would be a simple matter to delete reigning Hart winners and first team All Stars from a list of "prospects."

Bullfrog

He's a prospect on the greatness scale though.

The Hamiltonian in me would like to point out that they had basically a month to specifically prepare/rest for this tournament while the other teams were busy playing and winning playoff hockey until just a few days before the tournament started.

No Akhtyamov?

No Hirvonen or Niemela either, who were also recently in Toronto.
