If Wolski is indeed waived (which I can see happening more and more), does he maintain his current cap hit ?

If he gets picked up by another team, yes, the claiming team takes the whole cap hit.

If he gets sent down, no cap hit when he is in the AHL.

If he gets picked up when getting called up, half the cap hit will stay with rangers, half will be picked up by the claiming team.
