Why was that a penalty on Komisarek?

Our 7th D-man this year is a lot better than our 7th D-man last year.

Pekka Rinne all the way. Are we getting a new goalie?

Speaking of which, I find it interesting that every Leafs game is considered a sellout, but the total attendance is never the same.

Does the ACC add or remove seats every game?

Aren't tickets sold different than attendance? A game can be sold out, but not have full attendance, no?

Yes. A game can have all the tickets sold and have no one show up to actually watch and attend the game. It'd still be a sell out if all the tickets available for sale were sold.

Total seats for hockey is 18800. The discrepancy is the influx of patrons watching from luxury boxes and standing room seats.

I don't think Doughty is wrong to want more money than Kopitar which apparently is the holdup. Doughty is better than Kopitar. I would love to know what Doughty's demands are.

Leafs should go trade route, Kadri And Schenn. Where have I heard this before?

If its up to me, Frattin got it.

Kadri steped up his game, but Frattin is overplaying him in the preseason and looks like a better 3rd line fit.

I would have to agree with you, but I like them both. Frattin looks better for the third line right now. I would rather keep Kadri up than someone like Philippe Dupuis. 4th line minutes aren't the greatest but Kadri could do some damage with a 4th line of Mike Brown and Lombardi if Matthew makes it back soon.

Thinking about a fully loaded Prius(51mpg) for Christmas,  33 grand, good deal?

Save your money and get an Elantra. 50 more horses and 49 mpg.

Here is the current layout..
http://members.shaw.ca/getbak/nhl_div_map.jpg

I think the simplest way to do it, is to just realign based on proximity..

To not make things too complicated..

Northeast & Atlantic Divisions don't get touched.

Southeast Division loses Winnipeg (atl) but adds Nashville

Central Division loses Nashville but adds Dallas

Pacific Division loses Dallas but adds Colorado

Northwest Division loses Colorado but adds Winnipeg

Travel time increases for the overall division for only the Central, and slightly for the Southeast Division, but reduces travel times greatly for both the Pacific and Northwest Divisions.

What do you think?

I believe that is the correct solution. It's the most logical imo. Let's see how it pans out.

Well according to the Globe and Mail and Ron Wilson Komisarek is a lock
for the D. That means Gunnar or Fransen are the odd player out - in addition the would have to move Fransen from his regular right side to an unnatural (for him) left side to accomodate Komisarek.

Komisarek...the gift that keeps on giving.  :-[

Maybe it's just me, but Franson hasn't looked very good so far.

Really like the new logo.  Love the old feel to it.

I just really hope that red isn't going to be a primary colour on the new jerseys as been suggested.

Time to get a Lawrie jersey. :)

Watch for a red alternate. The "BLUE" Jays front office aren't that stupid to make red the primary colour are they?

Possibly the 'new' Jays logo?

By far the best news I've heard all day.

It looks legit. Usually these "rumours" never amount to much but I'm sold. Not bad looking either.

I think you'll see a "thanks for the effort, best of luck" with Lombardi.

Bring Grabs back for 5 mil a season. We actually have a decent 2nd line with Grabs and Kuly. Why mess with that?

Granted a lot depends on how this season pans out but I think we know what we have in Grabs.

If Lombardi is your number 2 center, you have one of the weaker No. 2's in the league.

I don't think Burke is silly enough to pay Lombardi 5 million anyway.

I don't think anyone would suggest paying Lombardi 5 million.
