You know what this movie felt like? A mash up of the tell tale Batman game and the Arkham series of Batman games. I felt like I was watching a movie adaptation of those games.

This movie kinda felt like the 2nd half of Batman begins and all of the dark knight.

Anyway, if you like dark Batman, you’ll like this movie.

It wasn't the actual story but it heavily took from Long Halloween which is my personal favourite Batman story.

I really enjoyed this Batman. I actually rewatched the Michael Keaton and the first Christian Bale one after it as well just to confirm in my own mind that this newest one was my favourite… and it is.

I agree that The Batman WAS a little long, and somehow the very end still felt a little rushed to wrap up. But I didn’t mind also.

I think I like particularly that it is much more vigilante detective than superhero movie.

Catwoman was also superb.

I’m not even sure if these games are available anymore because I think telltale doesn’t exist, but if you have a chance give it a play through. This movie very much felt like a loose adaptation of this story.

Also if you’re not a video gamer these telltale games are barely games. It’s almost like a choose your own adventure motion comic.

Some parts may need subtitles ;D

I finally got a chance to see it and very much echo the recommendation. Of the Oscar nominated movies Belfast or Drive My Car are probably my favourites of the year. Shame that Ciaran Hinds didn't win an Oscar last night as I thought he was terrific in particular.

It's funny, Kenneth Branagh would have been on a short list for me of guys who I thought had the most sort of stereotypical upper-crust English accents so to find out that this is basically his story and that the accent was learned was pretty interesting.

Just finished Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It was a lot of fun; good family movie.
