I didn't recognize the guy playing Red Auerbach, I was surprised when I saw it was Chiklis.

Yeah, it's almost goofy how they've had some pretty big names play what have until now at least been some very small roles. You assume there'll be more of Chiklis as Auerbach or Gillian Jacobs as Pat Riley's wife or Sally Field or whoever but it definitely appears as though they had some casting budget on the show.

My Marvel Disney+ show rankings so far

1. WandaVision
2. What If? FUN
3. Hawkeye, which I had low expectations of (Renner) but was pleasantly charmed by (Steinfeld)
4. Loki, not enough Gugu Mbatha-Raw
5. Falcon and the Winter Soldier, omg so baaad

I think Moon Knight might slot into the top 3 once it's done.

Edit:
1. WandaVision
2. Moon Knight: Oscar Isaac masterclass, <3 May Calamawy showing impressive (and hilarious) range in rather limited minutes
3. What If? FUN (and good preparatory viewing for DS2)
4. Hawkeye, which I had low expectations of (Renner) but was pleasantly charmed by (Steinfeld)
5. Loki, not enough Gugu Mbatha-Raw
6. Falcon and the Winter Soldier, omg so baaad

Some very good things that I'd recommend that I've been watching are:

1. Severance on Apple TV+. It starts slow and is very atmospheric but it builds and builds the tension and the season finale is legitimate one of the best episodes of TV I've seen in a while.

2. Super Pumped on Crave. Of all of the "This is how a tech company crashed" shows going on right now, this one was the only one that really appealed to me because of some very good performances and really getting inside how messed up the tech/VC bro mentality is and the damage it's causing.

3. Slow Horses on Apple TV+. British Spies! Dry humour! Gary Oldman!

4. Tokyo Vice on Crave. It's directed by Michael Mann with all of the good and bad that entails but the story of an American in Japan who starts investigating the Yakuza has really had a strong start.

5. Rothaniel by Jerrod Carmichael. A stand-up special on Crave that I think is one of the very best stand-up specials I've seen in years.

Severance was so good. Really brought the weird, and I'm a big fan.

I hadn't heard of him before he hosted SNL a couple weeks ago, I liked his monologue so I'll definitley check this out\

I just finished marathoning "The Thing About Pam" over the last two days.  I thought it was brilliant.

Watching Minx, just finished the 2nd episode. Don't watch if you're not into risqué material but I think it's freaking hilarious so far.

Okay why is Tucker Carlson just feeding more softballs than usual to the late night talk shows?
