Real_ESPNLeBrun: Lightning and Flyers still haven't had trade call. Of course, Tampa playing right now..

DarrenDreger: Kubina trade to Flyers complete, but Philly can't make another move without trading a contract.

Sounds like Tampa wins if they're getting a bonafide prospect back.

I know they've been speculating it's him over at HFBoards, but, I don't think that has been confirmed yet.

EDIT: Never mind, foudn my own answer:

TBLightning: The Lightning have acquired a 2nd Rd pick in '12 or '13, a 4th Rd pick in '13 and LW Kalinski from Philadelphia in exchange for Pavel Kubina

That means it's Florida's 2nd rounder being sent to the Lightning.

Definitely not a bonafide prospect.  Just a body.

Oh so he is not opposed to deadline deals, just opposed to deadline deals from the maple leafs.

Clearly, he's open to being moved when he's a UFA in the summer, but not in situations where he wasn't.

look to small differences if you want.  He looks like a jerk to me for this decision.

2 years. When he turned down a deal to San Jose, he had 2 full seasons left on his contract. That's a pretty significant difference from 2 months.

...not to mention that it's actually his choice to begin with, tough to say he's a jerk for exercising his rights.

They sent Bourdon down to the AHL, which just barely put them below the ceiling.

LTIR, Pronger and Laperriere at least, I think there are a couple others too.
