I'm still not thrilled that Carolina got to the 2nd round with cheap deal racist guy on their blueline and Edmonton got to the conference finals with cheap deal rapist guy on their roster.

Maybe now that they're both eliminated they can join the LIV golf tour

A Pittsburgh Penguins reporter somehow left both Matthews and McDavid off his ballot for the Hart (went Kaprizov at 1 then: Josi, Shesterkin, Huberdeau, and J.T Miller).

7 years for a role player is bonkers. Especially since it doesn’t seem like it came with much of a discount.

I'm sure they'll be able to unload him in a trade in a couple of years if not happy with him. Still nuts though

Full no trade for the first 4 seasons. Half the league on a no trade in the final 3. Doesn’t mean he can’t be traded, but he does have the final say there. They’re not going to have an easy time simply unloading him. They’re clearly hoping this season was some kind of breakout rather than an anomaly.
