37 - the player we desperately need
88 - goals and grit

Timothy's play has me excited about this season again. I didn't think we had the D personnel or the assets to address our deficiencies via trade but with Timothy stepping up in a big way the D looks a lot more serviceable. Crazy how Rielly's suspension snowballed into something so great for this team.

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Yesterday at 10:25:52 PMIs this an Olympic size rink?  There seems to be acres of open ice out there.  On Kämpf's rush a couple of minutes ago he just sailed up the middle.
Camera angle is a lot closer to the ice then we're use to watching.

Timothy has arrived! Game changer for the Leafs to have this guy going. There was a hot minute prior to his draft that he was projected to go first overall before a bought with mono.

Quote from: Highlander on Yesterday at 11:40:34 AMHope I'm right, but i sense a new identity building around this team. Guys like Benoit have oodles of character, McMann shinning, perhaps Bert and Domi start playing to potential.  The resurrection of Samsanov.  Perhaps we have a real team gelling here.
Queue the 5 game loosing streak...

I hope you're right!

Who's starting?

Yes, George Parros, the owner of the clothing brand Violent Gentlemen Hockey Club selling merchandise with the slogan "Make Hockey Violent Again" in the Trump red and white hat style is the right guy for the Head of Department of Player Safety. Position also formerly held by Chris Pronger one of the most suspended players of all time. Are they trying to look stupid?

Anyway, it's wildly unpredictable what they do from one scenario to the next. It REALLY doesn't have to be that way.

Even God is like, what is you doing, DoPS?
Why wouldn't they have done a virtual meeting in the first place?  Especially for first time offenders.
Not like Jack the Ripper who needs to be on the carpet.

Because Rielly requested it to be in person.
Is this true? This is the first time I have read that Rielly requested it be in person.

They had McCabe kn PP1 yesterday.
Why? I am starting to believe Keefe is out to lunch. Bring in another rookie coach to struggle through the prime of this core... aka the Shannaplan.

He's the 2nd highest scoring defenseman on the team. I think he's shown some decent offensive instincts this season.
McCabe for the most part is through "developing". Let's give a young developing and possibly integral piece of our lineup a shot. I think the team is just spinning its wheels at this point neither developing nor a legitimate threat.
Liljegren is our best trade bait at this point. I think Keefe doesn't trust him. I like Lilly but Neimala will probably be up next year in the same role (at less money)
I couldn't disagree more. Have you seen our blueline personnel? This team is supposed to contend and you're talking about someone named Neimala? Who? Timothy should be pushed hard right now to see what we have and what he could be.

An in-person hearing is ridiculous. Comprehending how they discipline is impossible.

Quote from: cabber24 on February 08, 2024, 04:43:09 PMPoor Nick Robertson is 5'9" and his brother Jason is 6'3", 1/2 foot difference! I had to look it up after seeing a pic of them together last night.
Bet you Nick isn't sorry at all.  He's lucky to be alive.
There's a reason he's shorter..

I thought the 6" was odd, this explains it!
