MotM: Nylander.  He misses on that breakaway and the game could have gone the other way.
HM: Liljegren.

I reserve the right to switch to M&M if I have a change of heart.

Well, azzurri, you may not like Samsonov but all he's done is win since he came back.  Jones covered for him and helped save the season, but now he's returning the favor.  I'm not saying he's a long-term answer but he's not a disaster either.  Except when he is.

Hurricane Cooley nearly claims Benoit as its victim.

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Yesterday at 11:51:01 PMThat period sucked.

Yep if it wasn't for the 1st period PP we would be losing.

That and the four goals we have so far.  They've been a factor.  ;)

Keefe can complain about the faux-penalty to Tavares that got this started but the D regressed badly to its prior Rielly-dependency state.

Quote from: Peter D. on Yesterday at 10:50:52 PMI loathe everything about the Coyotes franchise.  What a joke.

Their uniforms are terrific.  The product within, not so much.

Quote from: Guilt Trip on Yesterday at 10:42:07 PMGreat play by Liljegren saving Willy.

He made a nice cross ice pass to Matthews later on in the PP.

Last number of games, his play has gone up.

He caught up to Cooley who is not slow

And thwarted him.

All of sudden Liljegren is beginning to look like the D we all hoped for.

McCabe has seemingly solidified into a dependable top 4 guy.

Benoit appeared like a miracle from heaven.

Brodie suddenly looks not-washed-up after switching sides.

Even Lagesson and Lajoie have turned in decent performances.  And now this Rifai fellow.

Who'd I leave out, Gio?  Rielly?  :)

Quote from: Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate on Yesterday at 10:25:52 PMIs this an Olympic size rink?  There seems to be acres of open ice out there.  On Kämpf's rush a couple of minutes ago he just sailed up the middle.
Camera angle is a lot closer to the ice then we're use to watching.

Thanks, that explains it.

My God, Yotes, keep your damn sticks out of the faces of our warriors.
