SORRY: ZACH.

Nice work by Hyman on that play. The fact that Tavares didn't shoot there should also be applauded.

Good article in the Athletic today on Zach

That makes we wish I subscribed......<enter sarcasm>

(The Athletic Zach Hyman article as referred to by Highlander):

He knows when to do how and what he needs to do:. The Leafs Hyman's forechecking game utilizes a several aspects such as usage of the stick, body position, short boards, etc.

I think Highlander was referring to Siegel's article on Hyman's scoring ability and how he has found a better fit with Tavares' style of play.

We also see that JvR's net-front practice regimen has lived on with Hyman, Marleau, and Tavares picking up the drills (hence their PP slots).

[L K]

Despite playing in the top 6 he's only averaging about 1.5 shots/game and despite only having a 4.5 shooting percentage he is really only 1 goal off his career average.  I'm sure he might be able to do a bit more but I'm having a hard time seeing him being much more than a 40 point 10-15 goal player.

Meet children?s author Zachary Hyman.  He?s also a successful partner in an e-sports gaming enterprise.  And, will get married in the off season.

Swell guy, Zach Hyman.  Not only is he among the league?s best forecheckers, but he provides leadership both on & off the ice with his practicality and genuiness.

Wow, Zack, where were all the other Leafs to help out. Down on their knees looking for nickles?

[WAYNEINIONA]

I just wish his heart and determination would rub off on a few more players on this team. We need a Zack attack on on all four lines.

Changing, because they were killing a penalty.

[Highlander]

Thanks, I didn't see the game, quite the play by Zack, hope he take a hometown discount.

To be fair, there were only two other Leafs skaters on the ice at the time because of the over time penalty kill.

He brings a lot of things this Leaf team sometimes lacks.  And to think some people actually wanted him traded.

A hometown discount would do well fo him and the team.  Don?t think he?ll be going anywhere, anytime.

If he does this again next year we probably won't be able to afford him. He's not taking a discount. Why would he when no one else did?

[hockeyfan1]

He has been called ?the Sidney Crosby of the 6-on-5?, and for good reason:

Maybe he'd rather stay in Toronto than make maximum dollars somewhere else? Not everyone is as greedy as...[fill in the blank]

I don't think Matthews or anyone else is greddy. Your time in the NHL can be very short so I'm not against a player getting as much as they can. Hyman will be no different and I won't blame him at all if he did leave for more money. We'll see what happens though.
