1 year 1.18M

Good number for Dewar, who could've made more (1.4-2M)

uh, not the greatest number in total for the 4th line
1.18 + 2.4 + 1.35 = 4.93

Maybe on a 2-4 year deal but there's no way he'd have gotten anything close to $2mil on a 1-year deal. Beck Malenstyn, a pretty comparable defensive 4th liner who can get 20 points, just similarly avoided arbitration with a 2-year, $1.35mil AAV deal.  And Malenstyn was acquired by Buffalo for a 2nd rounder at the draft compared to Dewar who was valued as a 4th rounder at the deadline.

This article reminded me about how funny it was that we all at one point were excited about Gregor.

He opened the Leafs? season scoring

And this one was electric

Gregor's line was buried 2-10 but how much of that was when Reaves was played yet playing unplayably?

Most of it, yeah.

Gregor-Kampf-Reaves played about 103 5-on-5 minutes. 45.85 CF%, 37.84% xGF%, and were outscored 2-10.

Gregor and Kampf without Reaves were similarly constantly buried in play but weren't outscored as badly. In 330 minutes for that duo w/o Reaves it was: 45.40 CF%, 40.86 xGF%, and outscored 9-10.

The Dewar-Kampf-Reaves line had just 60 minutes together in the regular season but had pretty solid results: 52 CF%, 63.61 xGF%, and 3-3 in actual goals. Now that's just an 8-game sample size but still better.
