I'm with you guys on Franson. Given his play this season and the team's cap situation, it makes sense that he should be the guy they move.
I figure they probably won't move him at the deadline because they'll want his services for the rest of the season + playoffs, but that would be when his value is probably highest.

Five game in 7 nights, so you'd kind of expect a bit of a sleepwalk in this period. But jeez, Buffalo is terrible.... Like Ward said in the 2nd intermission, this is really more of a "statement game" than last night.

I think more than anything that's the one valid criticism of his captaincy. Regardless of skill level I think you want your captain to be a lead by example guy and in that sense I think Phaneuf often comes up short. He makes some really bad decisions.
