Unless I'm really mistaken, Florida should curb-stomp the Bruins in 5 games tops.
 
Don't forget - the Leafs curse is whoever eliminates them goes to the Stanley Cup Finals but loses in the finals.  It's happened 4 of the last 5 playoffs: Boston (2019), Montreal (2021), Tampa (2022) and Florida (2023)

Unfortunately time ran out here for him. Great for the Growlers and then Covid hit and he wasn't very good for the Marlies. For whatever reason he didn't resign with us. He always had good hands.

The Marlies coach at the time was not good. And I suspect the Leafs coaching staff might also be the reason why some up and comers end up developing and succeeding elsewhere because they don't think there is room for them on the roster (Marchment, Amadio, etc.).

Dubas catching a lot of strays for letting these guys go, but he also kept identifying them and pulling them out of ECHL muck or whatever. Not to completely absolve him, he also kept blocking upward mobility on the NHL roster with cheap name-brand veteran depth that were on the nadir of their careers and banking on them bucking aging curves.
