This is going to be a heck of a 1st round match-up. Florida played at a 115-point pace in a full season, Tampa 109 point pace. The Lightning get Kucherov and Stamkos back but they'll be rusty (especially Kucherov of course) and going up against a very good team. Hedman and McDonagh are both playing through some injuries and they just lost Goodrow for awhile as well. On Florida's side they're also missing Ekblad of course which is a big loss for them.

Wouldn't be that surprised if the reigning champs got knocked out 1st round.

Also after being traded to Florida Sam Bennett had 6 goals, 15 points, 29 hits, and 39 shots in 10 regular season games. Didn't see that one coming.

He really caught fire. Florida plays the right style to leverage his skillset.

Motivation issues?  He has decent playoff stats (11G 19P in 30GP) and now good production after being traded.

I like Florida in this series. They have a solid team and kept doing well despite missing their best D man.

Yep. A team from Florida will win this one.  8)

Crazy that one of these teams will be a first round casualty but that's been true of some of the Boston/Toronto serieses so my sympathy isn't too high.

I think we just need to give credit to the heroic effort of Kucherov to overcome the LTIR status just in time for the cap no longer being in effect

Bob can't make the big save and Bennett is an idiot. 2 bad penalties and 2 PP goals for T Bay. TBay had 3 PPGs. Great game.

This hate was pretty bad. When the refs are letting players run wild all game long though eventually someone always crosses the line.

Tight games all over the place...good...I hope they all go 7 games and OT's all over the place.

Grind the hell out of all of them.

If that's not 10 games, I'm not sure what is. That's one of the worst charging/hits from behind I've seen. Thank god Coleman was standing upright.

Playoffs. No suspension history. Phone hearing - meaning, max 5 games allowed. I'm guessing 3 games.

Was also a pretty blatant attempt at retaliation/attempt to injure since Coleman threw a big (arguably late) hit on Barkov just a little bit earlier.

Why isn't McDonaugh having a hearing as well. His hit was pretty bad. I like tough hockey but that game was getting ridiculous with the crap they let go. And like I said above, Bennett is an idiot.
