The Maple Leafs will be looking to finish the preseason with their third straight win as they close out the home-and-home with the Detroit Red Wings.

On Friday, the Leafs and Red Wings had a see-saw battle with Mike Brown forcing overtime as he scored just 1:06 after Detroit had taken a 3-2 lead. Brown scored two goals in his first preseason game of the year.

An unlikely goal scorer in Mike Komisarek scored the overtime winner as the Leafs defeated Detroit 4-3.  Komisarek and partner Jake Gardiner combined for four points in the win.

Jonas Gustavsson made 26 saves to pick up his first win of the preseason.

Reimer gets the start tonight. And Lombardi plays his first game since October 13th, 2010, possibly playing between Lupul and Kessel.

I fear for Matthew but good opportunity for him with the opposing lineup, well, as long as there isn't some 'Neil-esque' knucklehead floating around.

Really keen on seeing what Lombardi can bring tonight.

Frattin with Grabo and Kuli should be interesting too.

Lombardi hasn't played an NHL game in over a year, so I'm just happy he's playing. i don't expect too much out of him.

Thanks go out to McPwnage for running the GDT's so far.

These two items are what I'll be watching tonight.  I think Frattin will start the year with the big club, either in that 3rd line LW, or perhaps on this line while Mac serves his suspension.

Oh agreed, but hopefully we'll at least see some flashes of what to expect.
