Did not see that one coming, though figured Hildeby would probably get moved if Bob was signed. Is Paul any good anymore? Remember some playoff heroics against Leafs but last year his #s look pretty meh

With the goalies drafted and with Akhtyamov's progression it made the decision to move on easier. I like Hildeby as well but the problem is Stolarz isn't worth anything so you def wouldn't be getting Nick Paul for him. Yes he's banking on players regaining their form but he's also creating roles for proven guys. Paul is a proven 20 goal hard to play against guy. Bob is a winner. Same goes with the rest. I think the Leafs can form a pretty nasty line with Paul. We'll see though because Chayka isn't done yet. There's moves to come to shore up the D.
I have no idea this will work but I'm more optimistic then I was the last 2 off seasons.
