I could buy that in his 1st or 2nd season but come 3 or 4 I think it would have been nice to see him expand his game a little more.
We did see Matthews step up his defensive game a little this season. We know Tavares can kill penalties. Putting everything that happened in the past aside I just hope at least one of has a role on the PK next season. Kerfoot-Hyman, Matthews/Tavares-Marner, and Engvall-Mikheyev or something like that would nice group of penalty killers.
