Some people just want security and with the Cap not moving for a few years, he's going to make 150K over minimum in the NHL. We'll see what his minors hit will be but I'm guessing it's not 70K. Leafs wanted another Hyman so let's see if he can become Hyman 2.0.

Just found the Minors hits...175K, 100K, 800K. Good deal for him because he just grabbed a 100K raise in the minors this season.

Gonna be a lot of intrigue once training camp starts up, whenever that is. Really hoping they found a quality 3rd line grinder type. Seems to have some good numbers in the A too, supposedly higher than Johnsson at the same age.

Capfriendly says that he is guaranteed 250k in 2021-22 as well. This means that if he doesn't spend enough time in the NHL to earn 250k at the 750k/100k split, he still gets that minimum amount.

So the minimum he gets from this deal 1.225M and he can make as much as 2.25M.
