Reading the list of Marlies top scorers after Abbott and Brennan is pretty sad actually. Kozun should help there. Although it's a little odd as the Marlies have been pretty desperate for centres this season, especially with Smith not with them and McKegg missing some time due to injury. Right now they're left with McKegg-Carrick-Smithson. Biggs and Ryan have had to fill in at centre when needed.
Still, as far as AHL trades though I think we came out ok.

Reasonable trade. Crescenzi was never going to play for the Leafs and was an undrafted free agent signing. The Leafs acquired some scoring depth for the Marlies. I think having a winning team in the minors is something that is important to give young players playoff development time.
