Goaltending is the last thing I'd blame for tonight's loss.

Both of the last two goals came seconds after Phaneuf and Kostka lost battles down low. They didn't shoot the pucks into the net themselves, no, but they're playing mediocre defense. That they're playing 25+ minutes of mediocre defense doesn't make it any better.

They were much better than mediocre for the first half of the game.  Then I jinxed them by saying they were my picks so far.

Any of their "Top 3" would instantly be the best player on the Leafs.....and it wouldn't even be close.

I didn't expect them to compete in this game because of the massive talent disparity. Just hope blowing another 2-goal lead doesn't mess with their psyche.

we weren't good enough to be in that game .....too early to give up on them..but a lot of these problems seem familiar
