I keep getting Cloudflare errors the past couple days. It's intermittent. I can take screen shots if this isn't a known issue.

What happened?
The initial connection between Cloudflare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.
What can I do?

Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources.

I get that there's bot scrapers but this didn't seem to happen with prior iterations of the forums at least in recent years where they just went down at random.
I was up at 3am trying to do maintenace on the server, and I ran a script to delete really old threads on the forums. But the script removed 90% of old content, so I had to revert back to a backup from a couple of days ago. It took FOREVER!
The bots are killing us. Between it running rampant through the biggest threads, it slows the server down and uses all of it's CPU. The server I have should run 10 boards our size, but the bots are again going post by post in the biggest threads.
I have the server host - Namecheap - trying to block the bots, as well as Cloudflare is trying to do the same. Once a bot sees it can get in, it runs amok.
I'm on it. I'll have to delete a lot of older content in the next couple of days, and it's a painstaking process.
Have patience, please.

There were 800 guests viewing the board just now, with the vast majority of them likely being bots. So weird that's a thing that happens.
