Seems like a lot but honestly if he makes it to the market I'm not sure he gets much less than that. Especially if he sells himself as a C.

Admittedly, I don't see him play very often, but I would have thought around $7m.

Sure. The Leafs are getting pretty good value from Kadri right now. Both deals are pretty fair reflections of the markets for when they signed though.
