You kid.....right?
Yes. I found him to be the tag along with Lupul and Holland again tonight.

My son watched the game with me tonight and I mentioned to my son that my evaluation of Clarkson is that- positive- he hits everything, has a good shot, screens in front of the net ferociously but - negative - he has no idea what to do with his team mates with or without the puck. That drives me crazy...crazy enough to wish the Leafs trade him while is value is high.

So is Kessel playing hurt? I've heard speculation, but nothing specific?

There's a slight flaw in your logic. His trade value will never be high. 5 more years!

I don't understand all the hate. His hard play in corners cause all three goal that line scored. He hit someone the puck came lose and Holland and Lupul scored. That is what he is expected to do. Yes his contract snicks, but he is doing what he does. He is going to score 20+ this season. No one will be happy with the contract. He is producing. He has 10 point already, I less then last year. He also is provide some grit. Give the guy a break.

In your post you say "his contract stinks" and "no one will be happy with the contract." This is why is trade value is never going to be good. I haven't mentioned his performance at all. Even though it is better than last year, it's still no where near a good value.

Unlike Stuart Percy who fizzled out after 3 good games or so, Holzer looks like he's trying to make an argument for staying with the team in the long-run. He looks like a legitimate bottom pairing defenseman right now. I know Polak is still out for a few weeks so no decisions have to be made in the mean-time but good for him.

He hasn't been perfect, but I think he's looked better than Robidas so far.
