Sportsnet reported last night that Callahan is close to signing a contract that's at least 5 years long and carries a $5.5mil cap hit. Bob McKenzie is saying the same thing this morning.

Everybody knew that Callahan was getting overpaid, but I figured that cap hit would start with a 6. It's not too far off, this still this could have been worse.

I hope for TBL fans sake he is not a bust like Clarkson, running around trying to justify his new paycheck.
