Game Notes |
| BOS -Jeremy Swayman will likely start for the Bruins -A lot will almost certainly be made of Fraser Minten's current spot in Boston's line-up. It's at least somewhat worth noting that since the NHL returned from the Olympic break he has the same amount of points as Brandon Carlo (2). That's not to change how badly the trade looks at the moment of course, just that people shouldn't overreact too much to seeing him as a "1C" -Boston is currently occupying the WC1 spot in the East. They're in a tight playoff race that could still see them move up to 3rd in the Atlantic or outside the top-8 |
| TOR -Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs -Or maybe he won't, who knows. Stolarz was of course scheduled to get the start on Saturday before getting hit in the throat with a shot during warm-ups. Stolarz was at practice and Berube deemed him good to go, although Dennis Hildeby was still recalled under emergency conditions |
