Blue Jackets vs. Leafs - Nov. 26th, 7:00pm - SN

Calls didn't go their way and they seemed to be outplayed some but their goalie made up the difference.
Gotta start somewhere
Their 2nd road win of the season ...

I like the cameras focusing on Berube yelling at Willy all the time
A) he usually deserves it
B) he asks his coach to help hold him accountable (Keefe mentioned it); also everyone else within earshot gets the message too but without (as much) embarrassment
C) might be the #1/2 reason keeping Berube’s job alive (JT91 being the other)

Tarp comes off when they win (so the fans can win too)

With Roy back, I see they moved Domi to the wing...he's obviously better suited to that, and I thought he made some plays last night.

I don't know, Cowan doesn't look like a threat from where he was. It was a great shot, surprising he could score from that angle.

Cowan started at a threatening spot (blocker side slot) and shifted to the area of zone coverage that gets confusing (between checks) where there are too many bodies but also not enough actual cover (wingers normally zone down to the hash marks). You're right, it was a beautiful one timer to take advantage of Greaves RVH on the far side.

Also, the nice oopsie pick Cowan threw on Werenski to get Tavares the room to carry the puck to the other side that started this cycle deserves a (surreptitious) mention.

Nylander didn't even shoulder check where Cowan would be, so I'm thinking this was a bit of a set cycle play. Normally a blind pass out from behind the net would be into the slot. McCabe was open if Nylander decided to hook it forehand through the slot.

If you could have Domi get off the ice everytime the puck crosses into the defensive zone, he'd be a pretty good hockey player.

Alternatively, what if we had skaters who were really good at consistently getting the puck back in the DZ and moving it into the OZ quickly and keeping it there for most of the game with actual shots on goal. I think that'd be a pretty good team.
