I see the Leafs offered L1 winger Nick Robertson for healthy scratch Yegor Chinakov and CBJ turned that deal down?

I'm sorry, but is Bell Biv DeVoe playing on the second line for Columbus tonight? Look at that. Hockey and a show all wrapped into one.

Crazy how up and down the CBJ lineup is in terms of points. Kent Johnson & Chinakhov are off to crazy slow starts. Voronkov coming into his own and I've never even heard of him.

I really don't like this lineup... Why is Jarnkrok on the 1st line? 2nd line is incredibly brutal defensively, 3 righties on one line and a 4th line built to fail.
Everyone in that top six has scored 20 goals in a NHL season before except Robertson who is capable of doing so if given the ice time. Jarnkrok has performed decently in the Leafs top 6 before - though he's older now.
I don't think McMann is bad defensively. I think Robertson with his size limitation makes a credible effort defensively. I can't attempt to defend Domi defensively.
The only two righties I see in the line up are Nylander and Jarnkrok. Unusual they would put them on the same line under those circumstances.

Ah I misread what Herman said. I think Jarnkrok can be moved up and down the lineup and I'd rather have a Robertson probably on that top line, but I guess they're probably going head to head. Still don't love it though.

Haha yeah. The Leafs only have two right shots up front with Roy out. They’re riding wing together for Tavares tonight, when they could use the balance downstream.

I think the situational requirement is Tavares needs some defensive help. Robertson doesn’t deserve a demotion but he’s going to be the primary driver of a sheltered Domi counter-rush line.

I’m looking forward to seeing Cowan with Lorentz and Laughton. Quillan looked good last game outside of the faceoffs and trying to Marner his breakaway chance.
