The base is 4, but yeah, you would think it would be somewhere around 8.$9mil for a guy with 64 points next season. Sure didn't get them any kind of discount eh.
Of course, the bonus is paid out if he plays 10 games....that's kinda hilarious. The base is 4, but yeah, you would think it would be somewhere around 8.
It's basically short-term cap circumvention with dead cap next season, if they need it.Of course, the bonus is paid out if he plays 10 games....that's kinda hilarious.
When you try to set your kid on one of two specific courses in life, and he chooses a third option.
This is insane for both teams lolI love this hatred

Oof... that's a stinger for ANA. The Ducks are $8M below the cap floor, so they probably match. ANA doesn't spend money, so what does Carlsson care? It's not like they cannot do anything else.I love this hatred
With the cap rising exponentially, I would imagine offer sheet compensation will be adjusted at some point.
I am saying the opposite. $5M today is not what it was 5 years ago in the NHL.Over a certain threshold it was five first round picks. It was lowered to four picks to stimulate more offer sheets. I doubt they increase the compensation just because it's higher dollar values.
