2025 Blue Jays

Too many missed opportunities over the last two games. They had plenty of chances and couldn’t capitalize. Can’t give a team like the Dodgers life like that.

They still did way better than I expected early in the season. It was a fun run, no doubt. Disappointed, but not crushed.

So close and so many opportunities...I thought Hoffman had it locked down; that HR to the #9 hitter.....jeez....... But like all have said, they had their chances and couldn't produce...A non-hobbled Bo and we score wins in probably both game 6 and 7..

If Jays capitalized on their RISP in game 6 and 7, they win this series easily. Too often were runners on 2nd, with no one out and no runs(or even base advancement) was realized.

3-17 in game 7
1-9 in game 6

Combined 4-26.

Barf

There's no good takeaways from this for me. It's like my soul has left my body. That was the ultimate heartbreaker. To be so close to it all, only to be so far. God knows when we'll see this chance again, if it does. Just...crushing. This one I'll never get over.

It is sad they didn’t win.

But so many great moments. And so many great things for individuals as well.

Ernie Clement now has the most hits in a single post season in the history of baseball. How cool is that for him.

YeSavage’s historic pitching performances.

Vlad’s general all round play on both sides of the game.

It’s been such a good ride.

I haven't followed baseball as much since the strike in the 90s.
So maybe I'm missing one/some but that was about as tough a loss as I think I've ever seen.
So close.

I’ve been staying away from radio and most media but I’ve come across a few videos of Schneider post game conferences and looked at the comments and they are so positive. Basically dodgers fans admittting that the jays outplayed them, Americans in general saying this was one of the best series of all time, and jays fans are not upset but rather proud of the effort.

I’m not saying there’s solace in losing, but it seems the general consensus is recognition of the blue jays and how impressive they were.

I think with the passage of time, and distancing ourselves a bit as jays fans, this is going to be viewed as one of the best World Series of all time.

Even during the game, my son said to me ‘I wish I could watch this game objectively because this might be one of the best baseball games ever’.

I think that's very true, and I was feeling that during the series.

The Dodgers star power was the difference really, in Ohtani and especially Yamamoto.

But I feel like the Jays put up so many insane performances and moments that will never, ever be forogtten through the whole post season and in the WS itself. Yesavage's pitching, Clement setting the hits record, Springers 3 run HR, Bichette's HR in game 7, Vlad's franchise HR record and general hitting but also his defence, Scherzer refusing to leave the game.

It's about as glorious a "failure" as I think I've seen in sports.

I hope they can follow it up next year with more of the same...

Definitely one of the best World Series. And certainly one of the greatest and most dramatic baseball games ever, with jaw-dropping plays from both sides. Heck, there was a benches clearing brawl thrown in there too to compound everything.

However, the sting will never go away. This one hurts. A LOT. Beyond words can describe. The Jays should be champions. Seeing the Dodgers celebration afterwards and watching highlights of their parade through the streets and in-stadium ceremony makes me sick to my stomach.

Should of left Falafel on the waiver wire, nice pinch running, clown. This singular display of base running enrages me.

I guess different things enrage different people. For me, I can't stand it when people use "should of" instead of "should have" ;)
