2025 Blue Jays

1 run lead. Bases empty. Middle middle fastball to Ohtani and it's tied again. Why is Ohtani not being treated like Judge
 
Credit to the pitchers from both teams. 11 combined runs over 35+ innings pitched.

Schneider spamming pinch runners leaving an atrocious hitting lineup burned the Jays. Hard to predict an 18 inning game but pulling Barger in a 1 run game was a mistake.

Pitching to Ohtani in a 1 run game was criminal.

Vladdy has reverted back to the guy who can't hit the ball off the ground.

Schneider is an ok manager but there always seem to be some important decision that has an odour in big games from this coaching staff

I’ll add, Vladdy scored from 1st on a very similar play in the 7th. I soon as i saw where the ball was i knew they were sending the runner.

On a less good throw, Schneider probaby scores. It happens.

The pinch runners is what killed them. With Vladdy having another off night, that line up struck fear in no one. It never felt like they had a chance to win it once Springer, Barger, Bichette and Kirk were out of the line up.

The power ability between Barger and Straw is quite disparaging. You're probably not getting a pinch hit home run with Straw.

Straw is batting .133 in the playoffs and Barger is batting .300
 
All in all, incredible game, historic even. Jays squandered several chances and battled back several times when the Dodgers were threatening.

Win tonight and even things up. Hopefully Ohtani is tired from all the times the Jays made him run the bases. 😂
