13 homers given up in the 9th or later, he broke the club record at 12.

15 homeruns against in only 62 innings for Hoffman; that is ugly! But his usage has also been pretty crazy. This was his 3rd appearance in 4 days, which was preceded by a 4 appearances in 5 days stretch. He needs regular rest, not a few days off in a row then back to the grind. Jesus.

That's the sauce they need going into October...I like that they have adversity going into the playoffs, they need that too.

I hope Hoffman can find his mojo moving forward...I think they'll need it,

His accuracy and breadth of speeds allows him to pitch deep into games with essentially only two pitches (FB, Splitter, and like a handful of sliders).
