Columbus and Chicago tied 2-2 end of two periods.

Detroit up 3-0 vs Buffalo.
 
Don't look now, but Philly is 1-4-2 in their last 7 (granted their only win coming against the Leafs).  They've joined the pack fighting for a playoff spot and are catchable as well!

Another suspendable offence in the NHL, Zac Rinaldo gave Sabres defenceman Chad Ruhwedel a flying elbow last night:

Elbow to the head. Left his feet. Player has a concussion. Rinaldo's a 4th line goon with a history/reputation for this type of thing. Seems like exactly the type of hit the NHL is trying to get out of the game, and yet they only scheduled a phone hearing with Rinaldo for the incident.

 
Only Ovechkin could be -1 in a game where the Caps are up 5-1 and have all even-strength goals.

Well, ok, maybe Grabovski could be -1 too.
