I am and it is. The pressure is greater in Toronto than Vegas for sure, but that doesn't make the fan base a bunch of assholes. We do have more asshole fans than Vegas for sure. It's per capita.

I think this is most likely too. But if they trade Mathews and Nylander at the right time, that can be sped up. It may be best for us if Matthews does demand a trade this year rather than walk in two for nothing.

Yeah, they'd get more at the trade deadline most likely. And that seems more reasonable too. Matthews wouldn't demand a summer trade, but if the season goes bad then near the trade deadline is the most logical place to trade him.

I saw that interview. It implied to me they need consensus between the two. Hopefully Mats has to justify his veto/opinion.

Maybe they wanted a ruthless GM and Chayka was the guy and they brought Sundin in to try and legitimize it. It also seems to me that Sundin will be focused on locker room culture. This guy is good/bad feedback to Chayka.
