    Springer didn't get a single strike thrown to him the entire at bat. Just terrible by George on that one. Another game this year where a single pitcher implodes and costs them the game. Jays need to pick it up.

    If I had to guess, I bet Matthews was more upset by the inaction of the GM. When Tanev got injured he needed to make a move for a right-shot D, at the very least. In fact, when the season was careening out of control he made no moves at all, except firing an assistant coach.

    'Show me a good goalie and I'll show you a good coach...' How bout bad goalies gets good coach fired? How does the GM not eat it for an absolutely terrible trade and asset management? Personally I wouldn't trash Knoblauch.
