This team is so bad.

Not a great finish to a pretty good game.

Hope they can pull off a W for the rookie goalie tomorrow night.
Can't be cheering for Connor Brown no more.

Maybe wait to have puck control before pulling goalie?

Another loss.  At this point it would benefit the leafs to continue to lose.  If Babcock continues as coach they have zero chance of being a winning team.  The coaching staff is incapable of getting the players into the best position to succeed.

What the hell is Barrie even doing there? just blindly throwing it up the boards with the net empty.

I couldn’t watch the game tonight, but I gather from the comments the Leafs were (not complete) duds and the Boston bear woke up just in time.  Right?
(Say it ain’t so).

The depth is affected by some injuries but we are back to the days of a 4th line that won’t score 10 goals combined over the course of a season and the 3rd line can’t score either.

I know I'm harping a lot on Rielly but that last sequence he needs to stay on his side. He crossed over and it allowed the Bruin a direct line to the net.

He's come a long way since he came into the league and was playing for the most part a complete game.
Problem is he's not a #1 defenceman I've always said that.
He's not tough enough to play against top lines.
Forced into that role at times and it's not helping.
He's a great skater, good offensively but defensively he was never great.
Had a great year last year but this year has regressed. I guess losing Hainsey hurt us more than we thought it would.

Got nothing to do with Hainsey. This is all about what goes on in between his ears. He's constantly running around taking himself out of position. Stay on your own side and at the house.

Oh I'm not saying he's not at fault but he was paired with Hainsey last year and it was his best year and not just offensively. It's because Ron was back there taking care of our end. That I'm sure had something to do with his year.

That was quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Let's be real, folks.  This defense is terrible, you knew it was going to be terrible, and every one of Dubas's acquisitions on defense has not worked out, even Muzzin.  They are going nowhere with this crew on the backend.

Good effort at times but undone by poor defensive zone coverage yet again. Rinse and repeat.

BTW, Barrie looks like he never played the game before and Hainsey was a lot better than a lot of people here gave him credit for. See ya next time.

A few more of these and Babcock will be gone.  I never thought I'd say that, figured he'd get this whole season, but not if they collapse in these road games coming up.

Most of the time not. Babcock's a master of that.
Well another one down the drain. .500 hockey team with the most expensive lineup. Beautiful.
Can't wait to hear what numbnu** has to say postgame.
