The shocking truth is revealed!
I was literally going to say that's 100% girl writing.

I was going to say that note looks like the writing that every single girl in Grade 5-7 had while they passed notes to each other in class.

TIL Taylor Hall rented out Auston Matthews' home after his trade to Arizona. With the season on hold (let's face it, over), Hall is now back in Toronto.

You know, he's not really coming off that great of a season. A cheap, one-year deal with a team that can provide him with one (or two) elite centres to play with so he can get his value back up to his MVP days before cashing in on a big long-term deal when the cap rebounds would be wise.

edit: nevermind I just remembered who his agent is

edit2: I also just got to the part of the article where he specifically writes off the idea of a 1-year deal

Wonder if he's regretting not negotiating with AZ during the season? Probably going to cost him a lot of $$

Given all the uncertainty surrounding the cap, I'm not sure Taylor Hall should be writing off any ideas at this point.

He's not a perennial MVP candidate but I'm not sure that his one dominant season really should have made him that kind of player.  He always struck me as a guy who is just really good but has injury troubles.  Can't stay healthy enough to be dominant all the time but also not quite that top tier player.

He's still at something like 89 points in 98 games or something like that over the last two seasons.

Which, it should be mentioned, is roughly around his career points per game. You can basically take any 3 year stretch from his career, and his point per game average is roughly .85 or better in all of them. He's not an elite player, but he's a fairly consistent top line winger.

Yeah, he's like the forward equivalent to a defenseman like Adam Larsson.

He us lived in AZ and is by far the most exciting forward. He could have cashed in this year without a doubt. Not sure he gets as much this summer as AZ probably would have paid him in Feb?? No idea if that matters to him?

They can change to any colour. These signs went up last summer, during the season it was red (sometimes gold) on raptors game days and blue on leaf game days.
