Not bad I guess. Don't know why we wouldn't bring back Boyle.

The only differences between Moore and Boyle are money, size and speed. Boyle bigger, Moore is faster. Both are good on face-offs, good defensively and excellent penalty killers. I'd sooner put the extra money into a top 4 RD.

One other similarity, both have played for Leafs, Rangers and Tampa.

Even though I liked what Boyle brought to the playoffs, I must say I always loved Moore when he was here. Always the hustle and trying and will be a great 4th line acquisition for us. I like the moves so far, not breaking the bank but getting a little faster and a better D man.  Small moves now Lou, small moves

Had no idea... very sad. The big C... that Moore house should have six little Moorelets running around in it. But that's life.

X2

I remember back when that all happened for the both of them, absolutely heartbreaking to see as a hockey fan, never mind living it.

May Dominic Moore have the best professional year of his life and welcome back!!!

Now, circa 2017,  Dominic Moore's a Maple Leaf again.  Wishing him nothing but the best.

Lost track of him when he left.  Is he still fast?  If so I like that out of the 4th line and penalty kill.

In the few games I saw, he's still fast and an intelligent player. I'm really curious about who was the driving force behind this signing. It's a clear departure from "tough" 4th line players. A 4th line with Moore, Soshnikov, Kapenen is much better than a bruising 4th line.

I wonder how much -- or if -- this will impact Martin's TOI.

Clips of all his goals from last season: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9so8D2sK4c

Hard to say for sure, but it looks like he can definitely still skate in those. There were a few goals off the rush there where he got some good separation from the defence.

Boston's SBNation blog was also very complimentary of him in their season end review: https://www.stanleycupofchowder.com/2017/6/7/15683536/dominic-moore-bruins-report-card-fourth-liner-was-great-for-the-bruins-this-season-veteran-nhler
