As someone mentioned, if it's a sprain it will definitely feel worse the next day (or two).  If it's a high ankle sprain, that would be bad news indeed.

I've unfortunately rolled my ankle(s) a number of times. The last time was actually not too long ago and it probably hurt the most at the time but the next day it felt the least worse/recovered the quickest. I guess there's probably no point in us trying to diagnose this.

Not really. One could argue Kappy has played better with JT then Marner had 5 v 5.
