Kessel led the team at 25:24.

Interesting stat for sure.  How'd he have more than any d-man?

Its easier to play big minutes when he has a non-existent physical element to his game.

I mean...it's been a pretty successful PP this year.

Since the Olympics, I think the opposition has had a better % on the Leafs power plays than the Leafs.

I don't think Leafs have scored a PP goal since the Olympics break so...yes.

Not a terrible game. Top two lines were pretty good, barring a few lapses.

Lupul seems like he must be either injured, or losing confidence, or something, because he doesn't have that spark in his game.

Phaneuf, too, looks absolutely plodding out there (even beyond how slow he's looked for the majority of the season). I really hope he's injured or something, because this is pretty painful to watch.

Clarkson seems like he's utterly disinterested. He barely moves his legs anymore. It's like he's resigned to sucking. Great guy to have in the line-up.

On the other side, Bozak has found a way to play precisely to his strengths and has proven to be really useful. And Kulemin looks like he's back to being an extremely useful player as well - he'll leave a pretty gaping hole in the line-up if he signs elsewhere, but at this rate it'll be hard to keep him unless they find a way to get rid Clarkson's absolute albatross of a contract.

I wouldn't go that far. He has said a couple of times in interviews that he likes toronto...it is where he started and the only home he knows. Both his children were born here and his family loves the city. I can see him working out a deal that helps both sides. He sure has played well since we experimented with him at C.

Boyd Devereaux tried to lose. He was just so horrible when he tried to shoot wide he accidentally score 3 times.

And Bernier is our #1. Yeah right

35 saves, one flukey, fluttering goal and the other from a 2 on 1. .926 save %. Yea, he's terrible.

effin dion

And yet another preposterous comment that I can't help but single out. Franson gave that puck away on an unbelievably stupid and lazy play, a fluke shot hits Phaneuf and into the net and Phaneuf is at fault? Tell me, do you blame the coroner when they pronounce someone dead?

Phaneuf had absolutely no idea where the puck was on the play, was facing away from it and as a result couldn't react to the fluttering puck and was at a pretty bad angle for the resulting deflection. Franson bears some responsibility there but if Phaneuf has his head in the game that puck doesn't go in.

No, I blame Dion for not saving my life. What kind of hero is that?
