I agree Rick, while driving and using a cell phone isn't safe, the things that some others do while driving, is worse.

I'll even admit, at a red light I will check my phone once in a while, or on the highway on a straight away if I'm driving alone and there is no traffic (very minimal traffic in Manitoba, I can go 30 mins easily without seeing a vehicle, during the day, hours without at night and that is on the major highway in the provience too), but I won't spend more then a couple seconds at a time looking at it. If someone is in the car with me, I always let them check/answer any messages on my phone while I'm driving.

When my buddy rode his GSX-R 1100, he would always keep some ceramic from spark plugs in his pocket and if/when he was cut off by someone not paying attention (he was hit twice by drivers), he would throw a little piece of the ceramic at their window.... Smash. heh.

I feel for you. When I get them, it lasts for hours. On a number of occasions; days.

"The federal government has served notice it will introduce back-to-work legislation should there be a strike by Air Canada’s 6,800 flight attendants on Wednesday, Federal Minister of Labour Lisa Raitt said Monday."

Earlier, she had told the Commons, "we will act to protect Canada's economy."

There's valid reasons for the limited interest. Get out of your basement if you dare. The real world will bend you over.

Is it so difficult to look in the same direction you are walking (or driving)? 3 people have nearly collided with me this morning.

Whenever my mechanic services my car he has to move the drivers seat because he is a lot shorter than me and can't reach the clutch. He also changes the tilt and telescopes my steering wheel.

My complaint is that I can never seem to get everything back to EXACTLY where it was.
