By far the best concert I've seen is the Zac Brown Band...I've seen them twice, both times at Molson Amp...ridiculously talented!

Other good ones were Kenny Chesney , Billy Currington, Wide Mouth Mason and Treble Charger.

Next up will hopefully be Keith Urban!

You got your z10 for only $49? Wow. I had to pay $150! (six months ago.)

Yep! Apparently it was the last day for the sale. Clearly it wasnt. haha

Did anyone else sign a 3 year contract recently? I signed two months ago, had to sign a 3 year deal to get the z10 for 49 dollars. Now the same phone is the same price, but for only a 2 year contract. I inquired with Telus Online Support if they were going to do anything for those two signed a 3 year deal recently, such as shorten their contracts to 2 years come december when the new rules officially become law. The guy basically told me, well you knew these changes were coming and chose to upgrade when you did. The people with 2 year contracts have to pay higher prices for the plans than people on 3 year contracts.

So basically the government puts in a law to help and protect consumers, and the phone companies just up the monthly costs to make up for it?

Ive been with Telus for over 10 years now, and I really dont think I will sign with them. Their customer service has really gone down hill. My phone was going through data at an alarming rate the second month I had my phone, ie using upwards for 30mb when I was at home, connected to wifi, and asleep, so I called in to inquire about it. I told the woman, I was well under my data last month, now all of a sudden my phone is using data much faster, and when I am connected to wifi, so I think its an issue with the phone. Her exact words were "Its not your phone, your plan isnt made for your new phone, you have to upgrade and get more data" to which I replied, it was fine last month, now all of a sudden is using data when it shouldnt be. She told me 3 more times I had to upgrade to a new plan, and after asking her if she would be playing for the extra data should I upgrade and then end up not using it because it was a phone issue, she put me through to a data person, who, while she hadent heard of the issue occurring, suggested I back up my phone and reload the operating system. I did this, and now the phone is fine, using only 20 or so mb of data/day.

When I first signed up with Telus they were amazing. Now, not so much.

A couple of months ago I upgraded to the Z10, and I love it. My fiancee wanted me to try a touchscreen phone, and would prefer I switch to the iphone, but i wanted to stay with blackberry. I always hated the touchscreen keyboard, so I think hes hoping I get used to it on the z10, and consider iphone next time around.
Having tried both touch keyboards, the keyboard on the z10 is 1000 times better. While the flick typing is a really neat concept, and especially handy if you are trying to type one-handed, its essentially not needed for the most part, as the "autocorrect" on blackberry is way better, and way more intuitive than that of the iphone. Also, I like that if it corrects to the wrong word, and you backspace to the end of the word, the original word pops back up, unlike the iphone where you have to remove the whole new word and retype what you wanted.

I love the larger screen size, and the fact that you can do flash on it as well. The operating system as well is amazing. Ive had very few problems with updating, etc. The only issue I have noticed is sometimes people have tried to call me and it hasnt come through. Only once or twice though so it could have been reception.

But I must say, as great as the keyboard does work for a touch screen, I will most definitely be going with a qwerty physical keyboard again next time around. Everyone I know who had a touch screen phone told me that after a month id be convinced, but its been almost 3 and I still miss the keyboard. I pay 8 bucks a month for insurance on the phone (they gave me free caller id for 3 years, same price so its a wash) to cover, as they put it, "any damage that I cause to the phone" so im hoping if it comes to that they will let me have a q5, 10, or the 30 if it out by then haha

ugh I am sick of games being on LeafsTV! They should be giving the channel to all fans free for the entire season! Im not paying 20 dollars for the next package up just so I can have LeafsTV!

Saw the Zac Brown Band tonight...the best concert I've ever seen!

Ever! They are SO talented its ridiculous.

And by fiddle i mean violin haha

Couldnt find the youtube forum anymore (i assume its gone lol, or im blind! if so feel free to move this over! :) ) Amazing concert they put on. This isnt my video, mine turned out horrible...shaking, and bad sound, but someone uploaded a really good one! Id pay to see them every time they come to Toronto. By far the best concert ive ever been to. Everyone in the band gets to do their own solo, and they are all sooo talented its ridiculous. I only wish I recorded Jimmy Di Martini's fiddle solo. Hopefully someone uploads a copy of it!

What really bugs me is if your license is expired and they won't accept it, even if it's fairly recent and you're waiting on the new one in the mail.
omg. Because if it's expired, it's no longer valid WIGWAL. We don't make the rules we just follow them.

Did I say you made the rules? And as for Jho's comment about the sticker, not the case here, you can renew online and need to wait for the new license.

Basically all that needs to be seen is the D.O.B, I mean provided its expired somewhat recently, it's pretty obvious it's that person as it has a somewhat recent picture.

I understand needing the I.D. to still to be current if the person is applying for something and their identity needs to be verified, but as means of an age check it is silly.

That is not commentary on any random store clerk, obviously they have no say on how the system works, it's more just a commentary on the system as a whole.

I think one of the biggest reasons for it being so strict is because of the common practice of brothers/sisters passing on ID to younger siblings/underage friends. Especially in the case of a brother/sister, the picture will look similar enough, and slight differences could be played off because the picture was taken a few years ago. Next thing you know, alcohol is in the hands of a minor, and what happens from there could be anyones guess. What people dont always realize, is that if that child drinks, and something happens, then its proven that they were served underage, the person who served them is held accountable. Like jail time, charges, hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines etc.

Once it expires it is no longer valid. If you have renewed it, and are waiting for your new ID in the mail, you will have the sticker on your license, and the paper copy of the renewal which adds two months to the expiry date - ample time to receive your new ID in the mail.

As for health cards, im not sure about other retailers, but at the LCBO we are not allowed to ASK for a health card, but if the customer offers it up we CAN take it - but its the cashiers discretion. Its not something we are required to accept however.

i think with twitter you have to take it at face value - a time waster. There is NO way you can ever keep up with every person you follow, and read every tweet that goes through your timeline - unless twitter is all you do all day long haha. I follow 600 or so people, and I probably read less than 10% of the tweets. WHen i have time to kill, ill go to twitter and read the first few pages of tweets. If I see someone whose tweets I am particularly entertained by I might click on their profile to read all their recent tweets, or any that I may have missed.
