I just can't get over how practically every year in the NBA we have great final series presenting the best players in the sport and then the NHL serves us up this garbage and expects people to watch.

Yeah, I said this recently and I know there's a barrier to entry for hockey but man this is all about how it's presented. Do you want to eat a flaming overcooked ground beef patty with brown sauce or do you want a gourmet cheeseburger on a brioche bun?
 
Vegas whupped them out of the gate, too.  But the Lightning ? with Kucherov ? are a horse of a different color.
 
I'm going to hell for this comment, but I sure did like seeing Gallagher get his ass handed to him. Cannot stand that s-o-b.

Not watching the games, per se, cause I seem to be bad luck for the team I like (saw the Gallagher thing in someone's tweet) but man, am I so happy to see Tampa lay it on the habnots.
 
I wonder, if the Lightning go on to win, how many columns will be credulously written about how remarkable it was that Kucherov was able to recover from his devastating injury and play so well in the post-season.
 
What a lucky, lucky stroke that he was fully healthy and rested for the playoffs and the Lightning didn't need to majorly cut salary. Just incredible luck.
