Second Round: Boston vs. Columbus

I hope I'm dead wrong here and the Bruins 'don't' slice through Columbus like warm butter.

I really need to know that there is still serious competition left in this tournament and that there 'isn't' an open runway now for the Bruins to win the Cup.

It's an 'opportunity squandered' issue I'm having I guess, with how close the Leafs were in that series. The Blue Jackets could help put that to rest by beating up Boston in this series.

Looking forward to seeing how Torts deal with Chara and Marchand. I still think he is capable of doing the exorcist head spin.
 
Columbus already with 4 pp opportunities with 2 periods played. Lots of interference and stick infractions called. I don't understand why it was decided these rules did not apply to the Leafs this season.

Leafs don't dive enough I guess. 2 of the Colombus penaltues were terrible calls. Guy falls down and it's tripping. Sad. CBJ is getting better as the game goes tho.
 
Don't like either team. Man this is an awful Eastern bracket. Is it weird that since the Leafs lost I'm ok with the Bs winning the Cup because it means we took the Cup winners to 7? :/
 
CBJ wins game 2 in 2OT on the  PP with Bergeron in the box. Bob made, some huge saves. Have to say Seth Jones is a beast!
 
Didn't watch the game, but apparently Chara AND Marchand AND Bergeron all got a penalty in the same game...didn't know that was possible.

Boo-urns are superb at taking liberties without taking penalites (raking the stick/glove across a face in a scrum). They did it to perfection against the buds.

So sick of Marchand and his bullshit. If the NHL truly wanted to get rid of this kind of crap they'd give him a game.
Hope Babs was watching that PP goal by CBJ. Their 1st unit stayed on for 1:53. Play your best and your chances increase.
 
agreed on Marchand and the PP.. What a dirty play. marchand knew no one was watching hits him and skates away. what a punk.... he has such a history and more often seems to just get fined
